This is a high-spatial-resolution dataset aggregating cloud-free Landsat 8 and Landsat 9 Land Surface Temperature (LST) data across five consecutive summers (2021–2025).

The dataset provides a temporal aggregate of the Landsat Level 2 Collection 2 product provided by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), indicating surface thermal patterns across Germany. The dataset includes a supplementary observation count raster, where each pixel value indicates the total number of individual, valid, cloud-free observations contributing to the final aggregated data product.

Summer Mean Land Surface Temperature (2021–2025)

The layer shows the mean cloud-free Land Surface Temperature (LST) derived from Landsat 8 and 9 Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) data for the summer months (2021–2025) at 30 m spatial resolution.

Summer Land Surface Temperature Scene Observation Count (2021–2025)

The layer shows the pixel-wise number of individual, valid, cloud-free Landsat 8 and 9 scene observations used to calculate the mean summer Land Surface Temperature (LST).
